As a Licensed Professional Counselor, Deb Walsh is trained to help people live the professional, social and emotional lives of their choosing. Deb believes that each of us has incredible potential and that each of us is our own best expert. The role of the therapist then is to walk with folks and empower them to explore their own emotional, psychological and social world. Deb is gifted at providing perspective and encouragement along that journey.
It is Deb’s additional graduate training and Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling that allows her to offer a unique skill set in the therapy environment.
It is estimated that the average American adult spends up to 85 percent of their waking hours either at work or thinking about work. This unique professional preparation allows Deb to use her skillset to help clients explore various aspects of their world, be it professional, psychological, social or emotional, using the lens of a trained Rehabilitation Counselor. Rehabilitation Counselors are specifically trained to help clients recognize and learn to use their own strengths to live the lives they desire. This includes helping clients assess and recognize the strengths of those around them to maximize their ability to adapt and thrive in a variety of circumstances, including making career decisions.
